Hello Readers, HTC the Taiwanese cell phone manufacturers
recently launched HTC Desire L in its Desire series. The Smartphone has
mesmerizing looks and built. The handset is priced around $366 in the Taiwanese
market but there is no word about the world wide launch of this Smartphone.
This handset houses a Super LCD and a dual core processor, so it will be good
in terms of graphics and performance. Though there is still suspense on the
Android version of the handset, speculations are on ICS or Jellybeans.
Specifications of HTC Desire L:
- The smart phone comes with a 4.3 Super LCD 2 supporting WVGA resolutions of 800x480 pixels.
- It comes with a powerful Dual core processor clocked at 1GHz to enhance the performance.
- Talking about the memory now, it has a 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of micro SD card.
- The device operates on Android OS but the version is yet not disclosed by the manufacturers.
- Talking about the built; it is 8.9 mm thick and weighs around 118 grams.
- It has a single 5 Mega Pixels auto focus camera at the rear of the device complemented with HTCImageChip, LED Flash, BSI sensor that enables you to do HD video recording at 720p.
- For connectivity it relies on WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB.
- The device is fueled by 1800mAh battery for better usage time.
- It also supports a 3.5 mm audio jack for better music experience.
All the specs mentioned above make this handset a good one
but it has a few drawbacks as well. It does not come with a front facing camera
for video calling or video conferencing. One more thing that may suffers the
Indian HTC lovers that this smart phone may not be launched in any other part
of the word except Taiwan.
But with all these features this phone seems to be a great
choice for the users and if it is launched in India it would compete with other
mid-budget handsets by Samsung and Nokia. Let us hope that the manufacturers
think about launching it world-wide and give everyone a better chance to get
hands on this device.
