iBall launches Slide 6309i with Android 4.1




Hello Readers, iBall has launched a budget tablet in the Indian market which is named Slide 6309i for just 5199 INR. This device runs on the latest version of Android OS. With the budget and features this device the manufacturers are focusing the students. There are plenty of tablets in the Indian market today and many companies are competing with each other’s products. This device could be termed as the mini version of the iBall Edu Slide i-1017 that has a dual core processor and costs around 12999 INR, launched by the company earlier this year.

This device has good looks and features such as long display and fast processor. Now it would be interesting to see that this device makes the smart devices competition bigger or not. Let us review the features of this device.

Specifications of iBall Slide 6309i


  • This tablet houses a 7 inches long capacitive touch screen display supporting resolutions of 1024 x 600 pixels.
  • With 1.2 GHz cortex A9 single core processor this device is faster in its class.
  • This tablet runs on the latest version of Android, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
  • It comes with 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of micro SD card.
  • Talking about the camera, it houses dual camera at rear and front of the device. There is a 2 Mega pixels camera at the rear and a 0.3 Mega pixels front facing camera.
  • The device supports 3G internet connectivity via USB dongle. More about connectivity, this device supports WIFI, Bluetooth and HDMI.
  • This device is fueled by a 3000mAh powerful battery for better usage time.

The iBall Edu-Slide i-1017 had 1280 x 800 screen resolutions, dual core processor and 8 GB internal storage, that’s why I termed iBall Slide 6309i a mini version of this device. Well it is fairly good device and can compete with other budget tablets and phablets.
