Hello Readers, Today I will share with you easy tips for getting a good alexa traffic rank. There is a great significance of Alexa traffic rank. It shows how popular you website or blog is. It takes in account the traffic of your blog/website to calculate your traffic rank. We all know how important these statistics are for our blogs and websites. The motive of this article is to make you all aware of Alexa ranks and how you can improve your traffic rank. 

Why Alexa Rank is important?

Alexa traffic rank is the measure of the reputation of your Blog and websites. If you want to earn money from your blogs, it turns more important because online advertisers and advertisement programs consider your traffic rank to decide whether put ads on your blog/websites or not. If you have a good traffic rank it will attract more advertisers to your blog/website. It is also a measure of how optimized your blog/website is for Search engines. Those people who do blogging for their living & earnings will easily understand the importance of Alexa ranks.

Well it has an algorithm that takes into account your past three month’s traffic and calculates a global and regional traffic rank for your website/blog.

If your blog/website is pretty new it will take time to improve your alexa rank, you can follow the steps below and see the changes in few days. My blog is around 1.5 months old and currently ranked 2,957,290. You can see the alexa widget at the bottom of the page to check my exact rank. I started with a global rank of 11,242,326 and reached 2,957,290 within a month, you can see the difference and it is improving day by day. Now let us see how you can improve you alexa trafiic rank:

• The first step should be claiming your website/blog on alexa. Visit alexa and register for free account and put all the details about your blog/website and verify your site. It will immediately start ranking you.
• Write on your blogs frequently and always write unique & quality content. If you keep your blogs unchanged for a few days it will decrease your traffic and you will not improve your rank.
• Link building is very important for a good rank. See my post how to get backlinks easily.
• Put alexa widget in your sidebar or footer to show off your traffic stats. When a person clicks on that alexa recognizes it and improves your rank.
• Install Alexa toolbar in your browser for more analytics.
• Aim for Global ranks first and then go for regional rank. I will soon post about alexa regional ranks.
