Readers, The Korean Giant Samsung has come up with another amazing smart phone
the Galaxy S2 plus in its popular Galaxy series. The device was officially
announced by the Samsung in January but it’s not listed on their official
website yet. This smart phone is yet to be officially launched in the first
week of April but an online retail store has started the pre-booking of this
handset which is priced at 22,990 INR by that website. After the official
launch of Samsung Galaxy S4, this device was announced
which is an upgraded model for the former Galaxy S2. With the latest version of
Android and a dual core processor this smart phone seems to be a good choice.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S2
- This device is powered by a Dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.
- It runs on the Jelly Bean v 4.1.2, the latest version of Android.
- The device comes with a good 4.3 inches Super AMOLED display supporting WVGA resolutions of 480 x 800 with multi touch.
- The dimensions of the phone are 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm and it weighs around 121gms.
- Talking about the camera the device has got 8 Mega pixels camera at its rear complemented with a single LED flash to record HD videos at 1080p and a 2 Mega pixels front facing camera for video calling.
- This smart phone comes with 1GB RAM and an internal storage of 8GB which can be expanded up to 64GB with the help of micro SD card.
- The device is fueled by a 1,650mAh battery.
- For internet connectivity the device supports 2G, 3G and WIFI, other connectivity options are Bluetooth and a micro USB slot.
The
device has many things in common with the previous handset of the company named
the Galaxy Grand and more over Grand has got additional features as well though
Grand is priced lower than this one. Samsung is contradicting with its own products,
May be just a side effect of launching many handsets at the same time. But
still Samsung is impressive with its smart phones; comes in all budgets and this
Galaxy series is Special one.
